Trials

The 14-day Strategy trial

Every new workspace starts on a 14-day trial of the Strategy tier. No card required to start.

During the trial you get:

• Weekly audit cadence.
• Up to 3 companies.
• Up to 30 content drafts.
• Up to 10 team seats.
• WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify integrations.
• Six-engine AI coverage.

Essentially: enough rope to run a real campaign and form an opinion.

What's NOT in the trial

The trial is Strategy-tier — not Domination. So:

• No API access.
• No white-label / custom domain.
• No SAML SSO.
• No custom compliance rules.

In-app trial banner

A banner at the top of every dashboard page shows:

• Days remaining (or hours, if ≤24).
• A "Choose plan" CTA that opens the pricing chooser.
• A "Dismiss" button.

The banner's tone escalates:

• >3 days: soft nudge.
• ≤3 days: amber warning.
• ≤24 hours: red critical.

Dismissing the soft nudge doesn't make the amber or red reappear silently — the dismiss is per-urgency-level.

What happens at day 14

The trial ends. Three possible states:

1. You converted. A plan is active; trial banner disappears.
2. You didn't, no card on file. The workspace flips to a read-only state. You keep your data, you can still sign in, but you can't run new audits or publish new content. Add a card via Settings → Billing at any time to reactivate.
3. Card on file but conversion failed. Stripe runs its dunning sequence and we proceed with Payment methods' failure flow.

Extensions

If you need a few more days:

• Self-serve. Click "Extend trial" in the banner (visible when ≤3 days remain). Adds 7 days.
• Customer-success extension. Email success@aidomination.app for a one-time 14-day extension. We grant generously; we'd rather you take time to evaluate than convert and bounce.

Beyond two extensions, we ask you to commit one way or the other.

Trial-end emails

The system sends:

• Day -3: "Your trial ends in 3 days."
• Day -1: "Your trial ends tomorrow."
• Day 0: "Your trial just ended."
• Day +7 (if not converted): "We're keeping your data — come back any time."

You can suppress these at Settings → Notifications → Trial emails.

Multiple trials per organization

Each workspace gets one trial. If you delete a workspace and create a new one with the same email, you DO get a fresh trial — but at our discretion. We don't enforce a hard ban; we trust users not to abuse it.

Trial conversion mechanics

Converting:

1. Settings → Billing → Choose plan.
2. Pick monthly or annual.
3. Enter card details (Stripe Checkout).
4. Subscription starts.

If you convert mid-trial, you keep the remaining trial days as free time — you're not double-charged. Stripe handles the proration.
